These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Thesis platform. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Thesis.

2. Account Responsibilities

• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Provide accurate account details
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

3. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Abuse, disrupt, or harm the platform
• Upload illegal or harmful content
• Use automated scraping or unauthorized bots
• Misrepresent AI outputs as authoritative fact

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Billing is handled through Stripe
• No free trials
• Refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis
• No prorated refunds
• Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled

5. User Content

You retain ownership of your prompts, transcripts, uploads, and curriculum. You grant Thesis a limited license to process this content strictly to deliver and improve the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform code, UI/UX, branding, AI models, and internal logic belong to Thesis. You may not copy, distribute, or replicate the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” AI content may be inaccurate or incomplete. Thesis is not liable for reliance on AI-generated material.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Thesis is not liable for indirect or incidental damages, data loss, outages, or misuse. Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
