Thesis Technologies LTD (“Thesis”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides the Thesis debate and curriculum platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Service.

We collect the following categories of information in order to deliver and improve the Service:
- Account Information: email, password (hashed), authentication metadata.
- Debate & Curriculum Data: transcripts, prompts, AI outputs, scores, summaries.
- Uploaded Files: PDFs, documents, textbooks used for generation.
- Voice Data: audio and speech-to-text transcripts for live sessions.
- Usage Data: IP, browser, device, logs, feature usage, performance data.
- Payment Data: handled exclusively by Stripe; we do not store card info.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Operate and maintain the Service
- Generate debates, transcripts, and curriculum
- Improve AI accuracy and platform reliability
- Provide customer support
- Ensure platform safety and integrity
- Comply with legal obligations
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your data. We share information only with trusted service providers such as Supabase, Stripe, and transcription/AI providers, and only as needed to operate the Service.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption, access controls, and secure hosting. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
5. International Transfers
Your data may be processed outside Canada with equivalent protections.
6. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data by emailing support@thesistech.ca.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
